We Are Blessed to Live in Freedom

"Each day I am faced with an opportunity to take a stand to use my voice, in harmony with what I believe. I am heard by BEING. To rise up and disagree, in the face of opposition and combative force requires courage, despite fear of disagreement. The goal is to support my stand and LIVE it in my world." - Dar Freeland

The quote above comes from a FREE person. There are those in our world who face enormous challenges and persecution in comparison, and remain without the freedom to speak or practice their truth every day. We can choose to come together to bring an end to the horrors, injustices, hatred and loss of life in our world by taking a STAND for it to be OVER. We can choose - from seed to harvest - to create and nourish purposeful lives of freedom; celebrate and share ALL cultures and enjoy simple life pleasures that are the birthright of all beings. We can begin again to celebrate the TRUE richness of life - because it is such a gift and so very fleeting. Even in our diversity, we can still choose to walk our different paths that can all lead to peace - if we will just choose it.

We ALL share two things in common, breath and death, and we have the choice to heal all other differences from there.

It begins with ONE person at a time, taking personal responsibility. May I create the most authentic version of me. May we continue with each other to create tolerance and resolution...and lead this amazing humanity to the peace it deserves.

Tibetan Style Sand Mandalas
by Artist Dar Freeland

A sand painting is created by laying down a grain of sand at a time. Once complete, the mandala is swept away to contemplate and celebrate the impermanence of everything. The mandalas pictured here measured 4' x 4' and only exist in photos. Visit the process at the links under the paintings.
